At a high school in New Hampshire, the senior students made a decision together to use what they had made during their recent fundraising for a class party to instead pay for a respected teacher who is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, and has a progressively diminishing range of movement, to travel to France this summer instead. One of the students put it best when he said they would have just used it all to go hang out in an Amusement park for an afternoon and then it would be done, but if they did this for their teacher, who has always shown such passion for the places he has taught them about through the years, it would be a memory that could last him the rest of his life.

Such a refreshing change of pace on the local news :)

Agreed. I hope good things for those kids ~ it bodes very well for the kind (emphasis on "kind") of adults they are becoming!
