I'm not sure what you are talking about with the Tintern - Abergavenny plans, which days are you doing that? All I know is I'm coming to cornwall on Friday and then you are coming back to Southampton on Sunday? Then we'll go to London Saturday night, and that would be wonderful if I can stay overnight (I do actually have other places I can stay, but didn't want to leave you if you were coming back to Southampton that night as planned). So you'll then stay there till you leave?

I'll call you tonight on that number and we can discuss things properly.

We're just heading out for a bit, but I wanted to respond quickly... Actually, the plan was always to do Tintern on the 11th (I think that's right, you can check my previous UK-related posts to check). Originally, we planned to come back to Cornwall after Tintern, before London, but after doing the drive, we've realized how expensive that's going to be in petrol and time, so we think it's best to go into London directly from Tintern abbey. So, you'd only need to get to Tintern and then we could drive you back into London if that would work.

Yes :) We're still planning on coming, but we figured it wasn't very efficient to drive all of us back to Cornwall after Tintern and before London after realizing how long a drive it was. Since you mentioned having the photoshoot on the 14th, we mentioned it to Sue and she has a friend with a place we can stay overnight in London... so we can stay there, but still do everything we were planning to do together. Then you, Curse, and I can go back to Southampton sometime after your shoot on the 14th, and have the rest of the 14th and the 15th, with us leaving to go back up to London for the airport 16th (in the morning unfortunately) if that sounds good. Are you working on the 15th?

Sorry, I know it's a bit confusing, I should have waited until we actually did the drive so we could better plan how things would work timing/cost wise!

Sue also brought up some great recommendations for other things in addition to Leighton House we can do in London like going shopping for Indian fabrics, and Strawberry Hill so there will be lots for us to do!

I've been dealing with a sore throat (probably picked up during our long airplane flight), but definitely feel free to call, because between Sue, Curse and myself we can get it all sorted so not to worry :)

Not sure about places to stay in wales but there are loads of bed and breakfasts around...I would volunteer my house but as I'm on a sofa bed in the parlour there is very little room :-/

Hi Libby! Take it easy tomorrow, we decided to do Abergavenny in the morning on Friday before Tintern Abbey since they are actually very nearby ~ only about a 20 minute drive. This means we don't need to find a place in Wales too, so that will save us bunches on a B&B. :)

We just figured within the hour that Friday is definitely going to be the best day for Tintern, because that way, those of us who are going to London can just do so afterwards, without driving all the way back to Cornwall and then up again.

So ~ Abergavenny & Tintern Abbey Friday, followed by London.

I should have a time figured out for us to meet up on Friday tomorrow and will let you know as soon as we do!

I think the one that arrives at 11:59 is best since you don't have to leave so early in the morning, and it is an hour shorter than some of the others. Is this for Abergavenny station then? If so, we'll just plan to arrive a bit before, and be there at the station when you get in. Then you can come to the Lester's design studio with us to look over all the luxurious silks and velvets before heading off to Tintern Abbey!

no I didn't get that mail. It seems that one isn't available when I try check it out online the closest is the 11:28 arrival. So I'll get that one (or when I go to the station this evening if they have the 11:59 I'll get that one), but I'll let you know for definite what time I'll be arriving - and yes it's to Abergavenny

Do you know what's going on yet? If were not doing Thursday I'll have to rearrage my day off, it shouldn't be a problem. Would there be room to drive me to Tintern too or would I need to get the train? I'll probably go straight to Tintern if so...

I'll be going home after Tintern before going to London on the Saturday anyway so will meet up with you there.

Yes, I talked to Claire last night, and we came to the decision that Friday is going to be best for Tintern. The only sad thing is it could shower that day, but hopefully we'll just have overcast skies...

Since we'll have all our luggage with us, and four people it may be a bit close in the car, but if you need a ride, just let us know. Otherwise, we can call you when we're heading to Tintern, which should be mid-afternoon since at 12 we're going to the Lester's workshop for a couple/few hours (I have no idea how big/small/interesting the workshop will be so we'll have to see once we get there).

I hope the switch to Friday is o.k. with you, it just seemed to make the most sense, and this way we can go straight to London after, and save lots of drive time/petrol cost.

Shall I meet you at 12 at the workshop then? (Providing I can find it of course ;) If you're meeting Claire at the station at 11:59, I can get there at 11:28 and meet you there too.

I'll then get the train from Chepstow (nearest station to Tintern) back home so don't need a lift to London or anything...

I was able to wrangle the changover to get Friday off. The ironic thing is that we have a case at Abergavenny Court tomorrow so will be there anyway in the morning!!

What time are you heading to London? Would it be possible to drop me off at Newport Station on the way back, I was looking at trains go from Chepstow back, I need to change at Newport and as the one from Chepstow gets in the one I want leaves 7 minutes before it and I'd have to wait an hour and do a differnt change at Bristol :-/ It's only 2 miles off the M4 motorway and on your route anyway, it also makes my journey an hour and a half shorter...if you could it would be really appreciated!
