Dead Can Dance here we come!
May. 16th, 2005 07:12 pmGot our Dead Can Dance tickets! I've been relishing their hypnotic music and Lisa's heart-penetrating vocals since the eighties, but this will be my first time to hear that majestic sound live... ~swoon~
We purchased the tickets in person at the theatre, so we were able to get *opera box* seats, and saved almost $20 for not having to pay Ticketmaster "convenience" charges... instead we happily spent that on lots of freshly home-made Sicilian pizza and calzones at Galleria Umberto in the north end (for non-locals, the north end is Boston's Italian neighborhood which is like a slice of Europe... it's also the oldest little Italy in the US and a great place to feel like you've entered a true Italian neighborhood).
I'm so happy about the box seats because there's no blocked views or feelings of being squished in by the crowd... Now I just need to go on the prowl for a pair of antique art nouveau opera glasses :)
