2007 celebrates our 13th year since the release of our first catalogue of "Gothickry to wear amoungst the shadows of the night". In celebration of this, and just in time for the upcoming warmer weather, it's about time that we release some decadent new t-shirt designs! You wouldn't believe how many I've come up with over the years, but now is the time to finally get some of these off the drawing board, and make them real.

The very first set is about to go to press, so I'm currently offering these in a pre-sale. We're having a custom ink specially made to print these up with, so they will be black backgrounds with white, silver and shimmering purple accents.

The "Bat" design is an original illustration I created, inspired by an embroidered motif on a piece of Asian silk brocade in my personal collection. These are the bats which appear on my business cards as well:

The "Hourglass" design was a specially commissioned artwork that Monica Richards created for me based on an early 20th century deco/nouveau piece:

Styles & Prices:
T-shirts $15
Babydoll tees $17

Ordering:
You can find all of the details on how to order here: http://www.kambriel.com/tshirt.html

Otherwise, you can pay with PayPal or place your order with a credit card through my website's secure online order form. Just be sure to mention whether you would like to order the "Bat" or "Hourglass" design (or both!) and which style (regular T, or fitted T) in which size (from S-XXL)

Shipping will be $5 for the first shirt, and $3 for any additional shirts being shipped to the same address (please double shipping for international orders). I should have these ready in time for Convergence, so for those of you who will be there, we could arrange for in-person pick up if you want to save on shipping :)

Enjoy!

You'd look so pretty in either of these, and you know I'll be seeing you Thursday night, so I could give it to you then! :)

I'm curious, could you ask your hubby which one he'd prefer wearing as a guy? I'm thinking men might like the bats better, but would be interested in his opinion...

YAY! I definitely want one! Silly question though, do you know if the Fitted T this sort of shape? (aside from the colour and print, of course)

oh god, which one? which one! I love them both!

Well then, it would seem *both* is the appropriate answer! :)

Actually, I was only planning to print one, but couldn't decide between them either... hence you are presented with two different designs ;)

Yay! Do you like one of the designs best, or both equally? I know I had a tough time deciding ;)

I like them both very much - I really can't decide which I like better.

That would be perfect! In addition to the Tea Party, we should figure out another time to hang out as well ~ I'd love to finally be able to spend some time together :)

This first batch will be printed very soon so I can have them in time for Convergence. If you know in advance what size/style you want, let me know and I will go ahead and add it to the pre-order now so it can be all ready to send once you're ready to order.

Ok, awesome. I want, for now, the large Hourglass variety. =)

Hanging in my closed in porch is a huuuuge reproduction I did of that calendar art nouveau piece. I like Monica's interpretation of it!

I'd love to see your version of it sometime! I asked Monica to do a swirly effect purple background for me, and think she did a fabulous job :) Then again, everything she touches ends up being fabulous, so I guess that was easy for her!

You've kind of quiet (which I can certainly understand as I do that myself a lot), but I hope all is going well for you.

I'll try to remember to take a picture of it sometime for ya.

I'm ok....thanks for asking. :) I have been quiet and am working up to making a bit more noise one way or another, other than my goofy singing to the dog and cats, of course.

I just want to make sure you know that out of sight doesn't mean out of mind and you're in my thoughts :)

oh my goodness! i adore the hourglass design, but it depends on where the image sits/how large it is. i actually had to let go of a f&th muse babydoll shirt with the four crosses on it because the rectangular emphasis on the design was horribly and distractingly distorted by my (not that drastic!) bust to ribcage ratio. is the image printed to be the whole front? if it's printed just in the breastplate region it'd be fine, otherwise, i'll just have to make do with bats! not that the alternative is horrible, by any means. :)

I know completely what you are talking about! I once got rid of a Bauhaus shirt that I really liked otherwise, because it had these two, big, eyes... Umm, yes, it's Peter Murphy, but still, it didn't work.

This image hopefully won't cause any problems like that (it better not, because I want to wear it too), I think I remember it being around 9" wide. If you're uncertain and want to let me know what size you would get if it *did* work, I could order one for now, and you can decide if you want to get it once you see it in person at C13...

The Bats are a safe choice otherwise, since they're centered. I actually did consider this "phenomena" in advance in order to make sure they won't cause any problems for us gals! :)

oh, i had that shirt too! ebayed some time ago. siouxsie did the same thing with a shirt design when she was performing for a bit a few years ago. either they don't think of it, or, who knows? maybe it was intentional.

oh dear, if it's 9" wide it'll certainly extend into and past the "stretch zone", unless i got a size large, which may or may not work depending on the fit (if it gets too baggy 'round the middle i feel frumpy and end up never wearing it). perhaps i better wait until convergence to try one on. are you ordering a stock to bring to C13 aside from the pre-orders attending? if so i'd definitely love to try it in large, and barring that, i'd get a bat design in medium.

i should probably also pester you about the order details itself, korina and i have played around with the concept of getting an illustration or two printed on shirts for sale.

I checked the Hourglass design, and it's closer to 7 1/4" wide if that helps :) I was including the black borders before...

At this point, I'm not really planning on ordering too many extra, basically just bringing what I need, but if you want to order a bat in medium for now, I can get that for you and I'll see if I can add an extra hourglass in L to bring for you to check out in person.

I'd be happy to share the details with you and korina ~ I'd love to see what you are thinking of having made!
