Gothic Beauty award photos!

So finally I got a chance to have photos taken with my Gothic Beauty "Designer of the Year" award. I created the outfit (including the headdress and earrings) especially for the shoot, but don't be surprised if you see it making a re-appearance at C13 as it's such a fun one to wear!

Fitting, as we're going to the Gorey House tonight! They're having a private party for the holidays, and as a last chance to view the "Dracula" exhibit (which we haven't seen yet). Don't know how I'll get through it as I'm exhausted today, but I've got to go :)

I'm just glad that I can finally bring the award out and enjoy it. I've kept it carefully packed up until I was able to get the photos done since I didn't want there to be ~any~ risk of the crystal being any less than impeccably dust free for the photos :)

I like #3 as well. It has the most *personality* in it, as well as showing off the full outfit well. #1 is a close second though.

Beautiful ! And I think that, besides being so breathtaking, the outfit remarkably expresses your designer personnality.
I prefer the first picture, because of the skirt, and even though the details of the hat are not that visible.

The first photo shows off the outfit nicely, but the third is just adorable.
It's amazing how beautiful clothing can lift my spirits! I love love love black and white, and you've done a really wonderful job of balancing everything.

I wanted to keep to a classic look with the colours since the award has a minimalist crystal style. Of course I went a bit oddball with the red/gold stripes, but I just found the fabric the week before and thought' "what the heck" ;)
