Merlin's Cave

nvayne's "The Pale Court", we travelled to the fabled home of Arthurian legend ~ Tintagel. While there, we climbed down the cliffs into the depths of Merlin's cave. It was cool and blustery, with the waves coming in and rushing around our feet. The floor of the cave was covered in thousands of loose stones... I wanted to bring something back to put on Laura's grave so she would have a relic from the area she longed to go, and thought one of these rocks would be perfect. The other will be for her fiancé
obsequious.
Here is a photo of the two I chose for them, placed upon a picture showing the view from within the cave. I felt the small dark stone had a beautiful symbolism since the band of white within it splits into two separate paths at one point, but then on the other side, reunites with itself again...
