Also, I heard from Monica today, and the mix for "Fell to Regret" (the song I recorded some violin parts for back in October) has just been completed! She said she's very pleased with it and will be sending a demo copy soon!

In other news, tina_imel asked if she could borrow my head for a surreal painting she wanted to do, and wouldn't you know when she returned my head, it had the added bonus of batwings sprouting from either side? :)

You've had to deal with this illness for far too long... I hope you're all better soon.

aw, thanks so much for asking! I think I've had a combination of sinus infection and allergies for the past 3 months. I feel a lot better now using an expectorant and nasal spray daily, but unless I decide to get the CT scan, I won't know conclusively if there's any lingering infection. I could also get allergy testing, but it's another thing I've put on the back burner for fear that insurance won't cover it. But I do feel mostly better, so I probably won't bother. :) Aren't you sorry you asked? heh but now that I'm chatting with you about this, suddenly I've got a craving for mint tea...

Oh, I should mention also that Ronda said the ornaments she sent you and other friends were prototypes, and that they (or similar ones) will be available to me for purchase. Huzzah! But she also said something about the memorial ornaments costing more, and I'm like ???!!! Memorial Ornaments?? I didn't know a thing about them (still kind of don't), but boy would I love to have an ornament somehow dedicated to me mum! :) I need to ask her about that, but she was in inventory hell, so I'm pausing before I start up the inquisition again.

I haven't heard anything (besides getting an automatic receipt for my order) from that company in Australia about my black Christmas tree. eep.
