I love this compiled panorama shot with Neil on the red carpet. The charming part is how it would appear he is taking a moment to admire the pattern/colouration of the dress rather than caring anything about posing:

As I told Neil, it seems a silken watercoloured rainstorm of a dress. Under the stage lights it read more grey, but of course I happened to like that very much!

He looks amazing... you did a wonderful job with that jacket! And yes, I've always noticed how he's very much "not a celebrity" at public appearances. I've never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I've heard that he's very much a "real" person, not just a "famous" person.

That's one reason it was important to keep his personality in mind with the overall design, it needed to match his quiet elegance, and it could be special, but still in it's own way, humble.

I hope you will get the chance to meet him one day ~ when I was talking with him in New York, he couldn't have been more warm, personable, and engaging. Everything was so easy-going and natural, that it certainly didn't feel like meeting for the first time.

I met Neil several years ago at the Florida conference we go to annually (the one that is this month) and, yeah, he's a totally nice guy!

that is a charming image indeed! Makes you wonder if a new story of an enchanted gown is in the works now ;)
