Here is a sneak peek at valerian's "Moulin Rouge" meets "The Addams Family" wedding gown! Actually, several peeks if you want to get technical ;) She is going to be such a stunning bride ~ I'm excited *for* her!

Thank you! That is the best compliment I could possible hope for! She was in the very forefront of my mind the entire time while figuring out all the fabrics/details, doing the handwork, etc... so it indeed feels very *Elaine* and seems to be imbibed with her spirit.

You can see it didn't take long for me to think up a way to use some of it! I had to consciously hold back since I nearly used even more, but I felt edging the top of the sleeve flounces ended up being just the right touch of tasseled goodness :)

Thank you! This has really been quite the year for great friends getting married, hasn't it? It's times like these where I wish everyone lived closer so it would never have to be a question of whether it's possible to attend... I can already imagine what Elaine & Michael's wedding is going to look like ~ and in my head, it's quite the elaborate and decadent scene!

I have no doubt of it! She will also be creating a special necklace design to wear with it (she actually made the one in the picture for me a few years ago, and her jewelry/accessories style goes so naturally with the dress!).

Well, damn woman! I am speechless! All the combination of textures, overlays, trim, beading..... holy moley!!!! How awesome!!! I think my favorite is the black lace at the end of the sleeves. That stuff is gorgeous!
