Actually it all worked out even better than planned since the seller just happened to already have a truck rented that week anyway and they drove them up ~ how wonderful is that?

Speaking of gorgeous, I got my circle skirt the other day - it's so lovely! I'm really happy with it. I've already worn it to a job interview and I think it brought me good luck ;)

I've always loved circle skirts ~ ever since I wore one as part of a vintage-witch Halloween outfit I put together back when I was 12 (it was paired up with cat eye sunglasses) :)

Thai silk is SO beautiful!! We hosted a Thai exchange student a few years ago and she brought as a gift some gorgeous red silk. I eventually had it made into a ball skirt, but sadly the seamstress did some things I did not like** [and had not incoroporated into the design] so I can't wear it until that's all fixed :(.
