Some new creations & art! These are just the tip of the iceberg of what we've been doing lately, but I realized I hadn't posted here in a while & wanted to at least share a couple of new designs/photos :)

Suspiria Gown photo of ONOH (& mourning doves!) by DividingMe. I really adore how this gown turned out, and when I first saw this photo, I thought it might need to become a poster... it's capturing one of those mystical dreamworlds you wouldn't mind getting lost in.

Also... the Sherlock Greatcoat as worn by the mysterious damsel I half-suspect of being "Jacqueline the Ripper":

There's lots more in the works & I'm trying to make the most of each day even though the Winter weather beckons wishes for the simple luxury of hibernation. Summoning my inner Rumplestiltskin...

The Suspiria gown! Gorgeous!!! The greatcoat is also wonderful and fantastic (and I'm always a fan of things that are stylish, flattering, and WARM), but am particularly smitten by the gown, which fits so well in that dreamworld. Makes me think of a spooky Wormworld Saga.

That Sherlock coat! *flails* I wish I was employed at a place that gave me $1000.00 montly clothing allowances. Hell, right now I wish I was employed.

But in all seriousness, this is truly spectacular!

You and Rusty are creating magic with your collaborations! Your styles mesh well, and these great images are the result :) Great job, I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Thank you! I'm really happy with how both of them came out, and DividingMe's photography creates the perfect atmosphere (not to mention we had a lot of fun at the shoot that day). :)

Thanks! I think the only "clothing allowance" I ever had was in junior high where I got $20 a week to cover clothes (hurrah for "Pretty in Pink" & thrift/2nd hand shops), but that also had to cover school lunches and going out. Silly me ~ I thought that was an awesome deal. ;)

Is it temporary with your job or are you not at the old place anymore?

I"m not at Aldo at all anymore. As drag queens Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale would put it: I got the Chop. I was offered a severance package to go away, or I'd be dropped down to part time sales. The worst was hearing my district manager tell me that they could pay someone $7.50/hr to do my job. Aldo at Cambridgeside Galleria is closed for 6 weeks for rennovations, and the accessory store on Newbury is closed for good.

Before Black Friday, the company was down 9 million in sales. In December or January, the company bought 50 Bakers stores and is going to turn them into Call It Spring stores. So all of the stores which are not profitable are being shut down. Time to trim the fat, as they put it. Someone like myself whom they don' t consider having a future with Aldo, would be considered fat. It sucks especially as March 23 would have been my 19th year anniversary with the company.

My regional gave me a week's time to get all my doctor appointments done before my insurance runs out before my district manager turned in my termination paperwork. So that's what I did last week, ran around and had 4 doctor appointments.

I wanted to add that the Superia gown is lovely and the photo is stunning. I'm just having a stronger reaction towards the Sherlock coat because Benedict Cumberbatch just DOES things to me. It's a combination of the coat, the model and the photo that is triggering this reaction. As the kids say on Tumblr: I'm having Reichenbach feels!
