Miss Sparrow will be able to be released tomorrow! The doctor was dealing with an emergency case at the moment, so I couldn't get more details about her injury, but I am thrilled.

And to keep with the theme, here's a photo taken a couple of years ago in Paris when I was taught how to get the birds to eat out of the palm of my hand in the shadow of Notre Dame.

It's *great* news! I can't believe she'll be ready to leave so soon, because she couldn't fly at all yesterday and was really distressed... yay for the doctors at Danvers Animal Hospital!

You'll notice in the picture there are a few frustrated pigeons. I wanted to feed them too, but the weird Frenchman who was teaching me (and spoke no english at all), kept getting angry when I tried to offer to feed them as well. Poor "second-class" birds!

I am so happy about her recovery! I'll get the full story tomorrow when we pick her up.

A-Ha - you viewed the photo with a fashion-oriented eye! The sleeve is part of a one of a kind Opiate Jacket I made from pleather with a scalloped eyelet pattern around the perimeter. It is my favourite travelling jacket because it's so lightweight, but it's also warm and waterproof :)

And things have been so hectic since I've gotten back from our trip that I didn't have a chance yet to *Thank You* for the awesome package of music that was awaiting our return! It's going to be a busy week, and that will give me lots to listen to while I'm working. Merci Beaucoup!

I'll tell you what I know at Bats Day. Shall I impersonate the wild old impatient French guy that taught me? ;)

That super! Goddess bless for being so kind! You've renewed my faith in humanity today. I've run into way too many jerks this past week.

I have some of that pleather and have been trying to figure out what to do with it, it's so pretty.

Glad you liked your package. I hope you enjoy the music, the mix CD isn't as "goth" as I think you'd like, so I included those other discs which are prettier and more melodic. :)

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you've had so much frustration... Hopefully balance will come into play though, and you'll have a great week ahead! :)

Oh Goodness, you are *so* right! The Disney security people would go absolutely crazy wondering what to do with us!
I'll tell you what I know at Black Market. :)
