Serendipities

From an adventure in the mountains where everything that went 'wrong' turned out to be perfect... My first view of this month's majestic Harvest Moon rising in the Eastern sky:



The next night was the partial eclipse which basically looked like a cookie I'd just eaten after the first nibble off the top. Every now and then a thin veiling of cloud would traverse across it (the moon, not the cookie ;)). Watching the lunar eclipse on a cool Autumn night while holding a mug of hot apple cider? Highly recommended.

Last, but not least ~ this perfectly jaunty mushroom I just spotted on a woodland walk would like to remind you to have a happy & adventurous day. 🍃🍁
