Early preview from the upcoming Faith & the Muse DVD! This piece will be in the extras section ~ a chilling and magical performance of "Into My Own" from Monica's solo CD, "InfraWarrior" (the cd that I played some violin for on "Fell To Regret")...

Credits:
Monica Richards: Vocals, Paul Mercer: Violin, William Faith & Douglas Hirai: Guitars, Cynthia Coulter: bass, Jeremy George: Drums
Shot by maxMIN, Emidemic and Sven Togni
Peacock Queen gown by Kambriel

Here are some photos of the gown which show a bit more detail ~ three (two of which are behind the cut) I took of Monica on stage, and one from when it was first made:

I'm just so glad they're going to be able to put their DVD out at long last. I remember watching footage from the original one they were planning backstage at ManRay, and all of that was lost on the next stop of the tour... it really was so disappointing to have all that wonderful footage gone.

But finally, they're getting a new one together! :)

Gorgeous dress - and song. I still don't know what to think of William with the blond mohawk. The first time I saw him with it, I didn't even recognize him. He got a kick out of my confusion.

It was a pretty drastic change from the old big black do wasn't it? Gotta love him keeping everyone on their toes though!

Thank you! She wore it very well ~ especially considering the fact that I gave her floorlength sleeves *and* a train ;)

If you saw how long the train was, you'd be amazed at her height too ;)

I know it wasn't typical "stage proportions" at all, but she really did wear and work it beautifully up there!

I see those sleeves and the train and want to get married all over again so I can wear one of your dresses.

I was so excited the first time I saw that video (in Peter's LJ) that I rushed to comment asking if it'd be on the dvd... then thankfully paused to see it stated so right there. That much more excited about getting it now!

It's nice to see the "daylight" shot. You can tell it's gorgeous with stage lighting in a dark venue, but this way you can really appreciate the details. Pretty pretty. She wore it well!
